Did you know that in Australia one quarter of children suffer from obesity and 30% of children develop body dysmorphia*. Body dysmorphic disorder is a mental health disorder in which you can’t stop thinking about one or more perceived defects or flaws in your appearance.
After a decade of battling three easting disorders: anorexia, bulimia and binge eating, Alia knew she had no choice but to change. She quickly adopted a mindset of those around her who were eating balanced and practiced an eating regime that focused on natural food, nurture, mindfulness and healthy eating beliefs. She has been eating disorder free and leading as a healthy lifestyle mentor for over 12 years.
Her research in balanced lifestyle and nutrition lead her to write a book on the fundamentals of nutrition, movement with purpose, positive mindset, mindfulness and authentic connections.
Alia today teaches teenagers and adults how to eat healthy again. She brings proven strategies of: mindful eating, accredited nutrition and healthy beliefs into her workshops and training. Empowering those who have been most affected by eating disorders, detrimental dieting cycles and the medias negative body image portrayal.
